April 25, 2016; 1:00 PM. I officially started testosterone thanks to this little guy in my hand. An incredibly special thank you to my dad for giving me my very first shot. Definitely a moment I will never forget.

This last week the fam and I went on a road trip to Philadelphia to check out a school there. I was never once misgendered - which honestly blew my mind. I started to look at myself in the mirror differently and more positively; but I still thought it was my imagination. Then I saw this photo of my dad and I. The differences aren't huge but they are. Cheers to three months of testosterone!

As of today, five months on T!

Almost six months on T! Come on, glow up! I am loving how much I am becoming more comfortable in my skin. It's becoming harder to even imagine the world I lived in before coming out.

This year was hard. But I'm proud that I made it through. I hope you're proud of yourself too.

2017, you'll be just as difficult, if not even harder, but I'm ready.

I chose these two photos to compare because the one on the left is one of my favorite selfies from being pre-t. The one on the right is today. It's so odd to realize I am 9 months on testosterone because the differences never seem that big to me. But they are there and I try to show that to myself everyday.

Today I discovered how I wanted to celebrate my one year on testosterone. By celebrating and embracing my feminine side.

Life's been pretty rough this past month, but it's always a nice reminder to myself that I have made it this far and I am officially 13 months on testosterone.

People tell me I look like my dad but I never really see it (especially when I was pre-t). But today, I saw it and couldn’t help but tear up.
